Terms of Service

These terms form a binding agreement between you and EU·social. Read them — they explain what you can expect from us and what we expect from you.

Last updated · EU·social is operated from the European Union under EU law.

1. Who we are

EU·social (“the Service”, “we”, “us”) is a European social and dating platform operated within the European Union. By creating an account or using the Service you accept these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our Cookie Policy, and our Refund & Cancellation policy.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the dating features and at least 16 (or the age of digital consent in your country) to use the social features. You must provide accurate registration information and keep your account credentials secure. One person, one account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • post illegal content, hate speech, harassment, or sexual content involving minors;
  • impersonate others or misrepresent your identity or affiliation;
  • scrape, reverse-engineer, or overload the Service or its APIs;
  • use the Service to send spam, run scams, or launder money;
  • circumvent moderation, rate limits, shadow-bans, or security controls.

We comply with the EU Digital Services Act. Illegal content can be reported in-app; we act on valid notices and provide a statement of reasons for moderation decisions, with an appeal path.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you post. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, and display that content solely to operate and improve the Service. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies retained in backups for a limited period or where retention is legally required.

5. Monetization, the wallet & payments

The Service offers tips, creator subscriptions, and boosts. Balances are tracked in an immutable, ledger-based wallet — every credit and debit is an append-only entry. Payments are processed by our payment provider; we never store full card numbers. Platform fees are disclosed before you confirm a transaction. Refunds and cancellations are governed by the Refund & Cancellation policy and your statutory EU consumer rights.

6. Creator obligations

If you earn money on the Service you are responsible for declaring and paying any taxes due in your jurisdiction. Payouts may require identity verification to satisfy anti-money- laundering and platform-to-business (P2B) obligations.

7. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law, with notice where legally required. You may delete your account at any time from Settings; deletion purges personal data and anonymises immutable ledger entries as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimers & liability

The Service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law we exclude implied warranties. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under EU or national law (including liability for death, personal injury, or fraud). Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the fees you paid to us in the prior 12 months or €100.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in-app and by email at least 15 days before they take effect, so you can review them or close your account.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the EU member state in which the operating entity is established, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection rights of your country of residence. Disputes may be brought before the competent courts of that member state or, for consumers, the courts of your habitual residence.
